The NYU Department of Neurosurgery is one of the largest in the country. It contains 16 full-time neurosurgeons providing subspecialty care in every neurosurgical field. It also contained over 25 part-time or adjunct professors that either perform research or collaborate with members of the department to provide a multi-diciplinary approach to treatment.
